Didn't know I'd love this so much. They announced the return of this formula just when I was craving something green, so I gave a try. The formula is smooth, not shiny, and you can keep it subtle, or build it. I already had the Olivine eye soot. The two shades go together beautifully.

I wanted to love this product, and I do, but I also have some issues. I've used all the highlighter formulas from Rituel de Fille, and the Rare Light Creme is the one I use most often. Ice Bow is my go-to every day shade. I was hoping that this would be similar, but with green. However, there is a slightly darker base to this particular shade. It may not be noticeable to most people, but I am very pale and any tint to a "translucent" base shows up on me. I'll just have to apply this product very, very lightly in order to not have odd brown streaks on my face. My second issue is that it smells very strongly of lanolin. None of my other Rituel de Fille products that contain lanolin smell like sheep. This product does. Ultimately, it won't stop me from using the product, but it's worth noting if some people would be sensitive to the smell.

When I'm wearing makeup, I'm usually wearing a Rituel de Fille highlighter. Whether I'm wearing a bold look or something more natural, these cream highlighters add that extra something that I love.

I ordered Borealis when it was first released and love that it feels very at home on my pale olive skin. I'm a green person and so many "neutral" highlights read quite peach or pink on me. This is lovely and truly subtle. Would recommend for green people across the board.

I have always loved highlighters that aren't the typical colors (gold, pink, silver/white) and so I had to have this in borealis. The formula feels fantastic and is easily buildable. It can be incredibly subtle or a shining beacon. My skin loves it. Hitting pan on this will cause me irreparable emotional harm, I'm pretty sure.
