Originally created together in 2024, Viridescent has returned for a brief moment to celebrate the limited-edition launch of Amaranthine.
Green is a color of dualities; it evokes the familiar and the uncanny, the terrestrial and the celestial, the enduring and the ephemeral. A shared fascination with green’s lush mysteries lead us to a beautiful collaboration with one of our favorite creators: Andromeda. Together, we have lured new green hues out of our laboratory to create an inspiring new limited-edition collection.
These shades are extraordinary glints of light in the darkness; the shadowy shift of translucent dragonfly wings, the glimmer of dewdrops on soft moss, the glowing wisps of ethereal light in the sky above.

really enjoying this green. it's actually a pretty sheer color but buildable. I like that I can wear it in my conservative workplace in more of a sheer tone and then answer that if I want to go out. not as sparkly as it seems which is great for me. my picture is a daytime look, as you can see I applied it very lightly but it's just enough of a tint of green to look good. I do want to comment on the jar, I have seen some negative comments about the jars and their shape but I see no problem with it. some people have said they can't get their finger in and I don't understand. they must have enormously huge gorilla hands not to be able to get their finger in the jar

Color is great. Gorgeous green without any odd shifts to make it appear uneven. Incredible golden green glow. Only one complaint. Product formula is tacky. It is tough to pick up and apply with a brush. The finger application method can be patchy and slightly tugs, but looks great. It does not ever 'finish' and if powdered over it ruins the look. I found it amazing for a quick lip and also for a gorgeous glossy style eye that is not overbearingly shiny. The small compact and mirror felt useful and cute but also small enough to nto take up half of a night out handbag. Worth the money. The tack of the product is not a deterrent to purchase. It does not wear for a very long time on me but I did get several hours with eye and cheek/shoulder application and no primer or setting spray.

Honestly I never thought I would meet this particular shade, especially in such an absolute banger of a formula. It took me so many years but she’s finally here: if you are a pale olive skin tone that pulls cool (Ice Cold) this was the shade for you. Alas, she was a limited edition.

I know people are always begging you to bring back this one and that one but truly….Aster is one of a kind. I will never find it again on this earth unless you Queens, in your mercy and wisdom, decide to make it possible. All of the cool pale olive toned people should have the chance to experience this miracle of color theory, science and magic…
And mine won’t last forever. I use it everyday.

I’ve only worn this once because the pigment is better suited for night wear but oh is the pigment GORGEOUS.
